Evaluation of my Blogging Experience

Hello friends!!

This is my last post and I want to tell you what I think about this blog. I think that to make this blog was an interesting experience which allowed me to express my opinions and ideas, and it also allowed me to hear the views of my colleagues on various issues. Some topics were “My favorite music”, “My favorite movie”, “A person who I admire”, etc.

I feel that I have developed my writing skills, because I learned new words and phrases, but I'm aware that I need to learn more about it. At first, I remember I had a hard time making the first blog, but in the following blogs my ideas flowed more easily.

After reflecting on what might be included in this blog, honestly, I think that is well structured. The blog was based on interesting and simple issues. The only thing that I do not liked of this blog was that this was very mechanical, it was not spontaneity and fluidity. I think that it would be good to write and receive comments fluidly, as is always the case in a real conversation.

In the future I would like to write about topics that passionate me, for example on issues related to the Bible and my future career. I think to write about things that we love is easier and exciting, because we can express our ideas more clearly.

Finally, I can say that I liked this experience, because it helped me improve my English and, at the same time it allowed, me to meet my teammates.

My Faculty

Hello my friends!!

The Faculty of Dentistry of the University of Chile is in the commune of independence.

My faculty is considered one of the best in the country, because it has done important research in the area of ​​dentistry. This school was created to train professionals who seek the welfare of others, especially of the neediest.

The faculty has a wonderful infrastructure, I love it !... This is comprised of a clinic, classrooms, a library, a dining room, a clinical practice, research room and a room where students gather to share and discuss various topics named CEO.
I think there are not problems with the infrastructure in general, however, I think that in the pre-clinical missing facilities for left-handed users. I am left-handed and it is sometimes difficult for me to perform dental procedures, because there are only facilities for right-handed users.

Infrastructure is beautiful, but this lacks green areas to be really perfect.  Authorities of the faculty to know that having green areas is important, therefore they are developing a project which consists of creating a vegetable garden.

My faculty is near to other faculties, these are Faculty of Chemistry and Pharmacy and Faculty of Medical. The contact with these faculties is very low. I think that lack activities where we can share more with them. I would like that other health careers can perform activities together for the purpose of improving the health of the neediest.

Finally I want to say that the best of my university is the relationship between people, because this is very good. Assistants and students are treated with respect and students help each other to succeed.

My favorite Childhood Series

Hello friends !!!

Today they speak of a cartoon show that I saw when I was little.

I think many of us as kids had a favorite series, at least in my case my favorite cartoon show was Doraemon, because that made me laugh a lot. I was 5 years old when I first saw it.

Doraemon is a Japanese TV animation series that talks about the life of a child who have a friends who is a robot cat coming from the future. The child always gets in trouble, but his friend always helps him and never leaves him alone.
Another series that I liked was marmalade boy. When I was nine years old I saw it for the first time. This is a series that tells the story of Miki Koishikawa who was a 16 year old student. His parents made an exchange of couples with family Matsuura who has a son the some age as Miki. Parents choose to live in the same house with their children. Miki and the son of the Matsuura fall in love. Throughout the series they circumvent difficulties, but at the end of the story they marry.

At present I do not watch much TV, but this does not mean that I do not like the animated series. I prefer to see movies of Disney like Cinderella, Brave and Tangled, because these movies are very fun and these generate me a lot of laughter.

A person who I admire

Hello friends!!!

Today I want to talk about a person who I admire. This person is teacher of my career who is in a wheelchair. I admire him because he is a living example.

Last year, I met teacher Dr. Mostzfeld. When I first saw him, I was surprised by his kindness and tenderness.

He is always smiling and giving encouragement to his students.

In an opportunity, when I was searching  information in the internet I found out about the accident that he had years ago and I also knew as has been his life. For forty years he has been practicing  as an academic the Department of Restorative Dentistry in the Faculty of Dentistry of the University of Chile. In 1994, he suffered an accident where his wife died and it left him in a wheelchair. Despite this terrible accident, he did win through thanks to the support of her family.

After the accident, he continued doing what he likes, that is to say, teaching dentistry to his student. He truly loves his profession and he exercises it with the soul.

When we live bad experiences, we think that these not let us living again, but I think we can return to life when we fill our heart with good feeling.

My favorite movie

Hello friends !!!!!

Today I will talk about my favorite movie. There are different types of films that address issues related to adventure, horror, fantasy, romanticism, entertainment, history, etc. I like them all except the films of horror, because they do not make me feel good.

I love movies that leave us a lesson and make us reflect. The film that I enjoyed most is "The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas," because it touched my heart. This film shows the purity and innocence of two children who lived in the Second World War, but also this shows how far the cruelty of humans reaches.

I think this movie teaches us that we must continue to be children even though we are adults, that is to say, we must preserve the innocence, the pure love and the true friendship. If adults not to forget these beautiful values, the world would be a paradise without violence and wars.

The first time I saw this movie was at school when I was nine years old. I remember that day I cried a lot with my teammates.

I do not recall exactly the most recent movie that I saw, but I can say that lately I have seen movies about Bible stories. I love see them because it help me know God in the depth of my being.

In conclusion, I believe that watching movies is good because on many occasions it allow us to share a pleasant moment with our friends and we can reflect on several aspects of life.

my favorite photograph

Hello my friends!!!

In This opportunity, I will talk about a picture that I like.

Every summer I visit my family who lives in the south of our beautiful country, specifically in a town called Loncoche. (This village is near Temuco).

Last summer, in January, we met many members of the family and an aunt wanted to seize the moment to take a picture. The photograph shows some of my cousins. I have many cousins, therefore this picture does not show all to them.

I love this photograph because it reminds me that day, which was very nice. That day I could share with my cousins, my aunts, my uncles and my grandparents a beautiful moment. I think that my grandparents were really happy to see their children and grandchildren.

I think family is important in our lives because it allows us to grow as a person. I also think that the family is not only constituted by people who share our blood, but also our true friends and people who we value.

I give thanks to God for the family that he gave me.

"My Favourite Music"

Hello everybody!

Today I will talk about the music that I like. The songs that I like are those that are based on specific themes, such as friendship and happiness. I think that Christian music inspires these feelings, because this is my favorite kind of music.I have heard this music, since I was a child, because my mother always listened to it.

There are many Christian singers, but the one I like is “Lilly Godman”. She is recognized as one of the most powerful voices in Christian music in recent times. Some of her songs are: “Contigo Dios”, “Sobreviviré”, “Sin miedo a nada” and “Cúbreme”. I believe that the song  “Cúbreme” is very beautiful, because their words  remind me that God loves us and that we can not live without his presence.

I have not been to any concert of an important singer, but I have been in the theater district once. On this occasion, I remember that I heard impressive voices!!

In my opinion, the music fills the soul of sounds that make us feel feelings and emotions. I believe that the songs really make us enjoy, cry and reflect.
